If you’re heading to a big Thanksgiving dinner or potluck with friends, chances are that the basics are already covered. Instead of overloading on stuffing and pumpkin pie, change things up this year with an out of the ordinary dessert.
I recently whipped up a batch of cookies using the dark chocolate covered pretzel thins from Trader Joe’s, and they were even more amazing than they sound. Topped with a bit of fleur de sel, no one could stop eating these sweet and salty, dense cookies. Plus, they’re sure to be the only of their kind at your Thanksgiving dinner.
If you can’t get to Trader Joe’s, feel free to use regular chocolate covered pretzels or make your own with pretzel thins by drizzling a high quality dark chocolate over the top.
