Wine Riot Returns to Chicago + a GIVEAWAY!

October 09 2014 - 9:00 AM

Second Glass, an organization helping people find and drink more wines (we can get down with that) is bringing its interactive wine tasting event, Wine Riot, back to Chicago next weekend. Second Glass is throwing its first ever Chicago fall edition of Wine Riot in Union Station’s Great Hall.

Wine Riot, which historically happens in May each year, is returning again the weekend of October 17th – 18th and offering three separate sessions. The huge, interactive wine event will give attendees the chance to sip roughly 250 wines from across the globe. New to the fall event will be a designated Riesling area where one can sample a variety of Rieslings from sweet to dry.

Other highlights include interactive booths and crash courses in wine and sake, a live DJ, photo booth, and of course, all-you-can-drink alcoholic grape juice.

Second Glass has kindly provided Chicago Foodies two pairs of passes to Wine Riot to give away to our readers (retail value $120 per pair)!

To enter to win a pair of passes to Wine Riot, let us know what your favorite type of wine is in the comments below. Comments must be posted by 12pm CST on Friday 10/10 and two winners will be contacted immediately after. Winners will have their choice of Wine Riot session they’d like to attend:

  • Friday 10/17 7-11pm
  • Saturday 10/18 1-5pm
  • Saturday 10/18 7-11pm

Good luck and see you at Wine Riot!
