Wine Enthusiast Magazine is sponsoring what appears to be a terrific event, the Red and White Bash, which will be occurring on June 19th at Architectural Artifacts, Inc.’s location on Ravenswood Avenue.  A pre-Prohibition-style party in celebration of the magazine’s 25th anniversary, the event will mirror the New York iteration of the soiree and will feature nearly one hundred wines which have received a 90-plus rating from the popular wine journal.  Featured vintners include Geyser Peak, Tres Ojos, Alamos, Black Stallion, William Hill Estate, plus dozens more.  Guests are encouraged to wear red and white attire, so dig deep in your closet or make way to the thrift store. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Wine to Water, an organization dedicated to bringing clean water to impoverished nations worldwide.  If you are a wine fan or simply love a terrific party, you will not want to miss this.
