So The Sun Times accidentally leaked a few tidbits– Alinea retains 3 stars – no surprise. Grace gets 2 stars – no surprise. Graham Elliot and L2O stay at 2 – stars. It’s somewhat of a tradition that at least one of the multi-starred restaurants enter transition before or just as these rating come out. In this case Graham Elliot is re-concepting to something more “interesting.” Given how Next struggles with Michelin recognition, interesting might run contrary to Michelin success.
