Sponsored: Unique Food at Chipotle Cultivate
Be sure to start fasting in preparation for Chipotle’s FREE Cultivate [Food, Ideas & Music Festival] on Saturday, September 15th, in Chicago’s Lincoln Park.
The one-day festival will include cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, live music, food artisans and other activities emphasizing fresh and affordable food made with sustainable ingredients.
The Cultivate Festival includes an Artisans’ Hall offering a wide selection of local artisan-crafted foods for sampling and purchase. There is also a Brewers’ Hall featuring local and specialty beers and wine with proceeds from the sale of beer and wine being donated to FamilyFarmed.org (a non-profit organization that works with family farmers and organizations that support them to build and expand local food systems).
Chipotle has created a menu of special food items for purchase, especially for the festival. These menu items feature a unique twist on Chipotle’s traditional menu and ingredients and include chicken, steak or organic tofu tacos, barbacoa chili, and a carnitas torta with organic black bean spread. A jasmine rice bowl with pork and chicken meatballs or organic tofu will also be available from ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen, the Asian concept Chipotle opened in Washington, D.C. last year.
So put Cultivate and the date, September 15th, on your calendar, and bring your appetite to Lincoln Park for food, music and fun.
