Jimmy Bannos Jr. really shines in this crowded small plates and communal table hot spot located just off of Michigan Avenue. From what seems like everyone’s favorite milk-braised pork shoulder to the creamy goats cheese and pistachio beet salad, the food is exciting and satisfying. Waiting for a seat is less appetizing but the by-the-glass wine list makes it palatable.
