This 4th of July, from 4-7pm, celebrate Gnomedependence Day! Come decorate a lawn gnome, listen to live music and get your food truck fix. Slide Ride, The Roost and Sweet Ride will supply the sliders, chicken and sweets!

It’s FREE! So drop by the Global Garden at 3000 W. Lawerence and enjoy the day.

Gnomedependence Day Gnome Decorating Contest: For $25, you’ll receive a ‘blank’ gnome to decorate and bring to the July 4th celebration. At the event, guests will vote on a winning gnome for each 2012 Peterson garden and a 2012 Gnome of the Year. Cool prizes will be awarded at the Gnomedependence Day celebration.
