Chefs and the City is this week, along with other celebration dinners and tastings. 

Wednesday, July 13:

Chicago French Market

Celebrate Bastille Day at the Chicago French Market (131 N. Clinton Street) in the West Loop. There will be an assortment of cheese, wine, and small plates to sample while you walk around and enjoy the market. Cabaret singer, Greta Pope, will perform during the event, which runs from 5 – 7 p.m. The event is free.

Thursday, July 14:

Park Grill

The Park Grill's weekly summer series, Party in the Park, is hosting performances by Urban View and The Reunion this week. There are drink specials and appetizers to enjoy. The event begins at 4 p.m. and is free. Park grill is located at Millennium Park.

Marigold Indian Restaurant

Great Lakes Brewery is hosting a four-course dinner with a reception beer and appetizers at Marigold (4832 N. Broadway) in Uptown. The dinner includes lamb sliders and sea bass and specially paired Great Lakes beers. The dinner begins at 7 p.m. and costs $40.

Thursday – Saturday, July 14 – 16:

Gene and Georgetti

The staple Chicago steakhouse (500 N. Franklin Street) is throwing an anniversary party with 1940's themed entertainment and decor. The dinner includes a four-course meal and two drinks from classic, hearty menu. The dinner costs $15.25 and runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Friday, July 15:

Ritz Carlton Hotel

The Ritz Cartlon (160 E. Pearson Street) is hosting their annual event, Chefs and the City. The event features dishes from over 30 local chefs. There will also be a raffle and an afterparty, which will be an extra $150. The line-up includes the chefs from Blackbird, The Publican, and Sprout. The event is $250 a ticket.
