This week it's all about the tastings, and the pre-independence day celebrations.

Tuesday, June 28:

Benny's Chop House

From 6 – 8 p.m. guests can sample different Proseccos and sparkling wines from the Italian region. The event is featuring Sparkling Veneto and hosted by the Italian Trade Commission. Best part of all, it's free to attend.

Wednesday, June 29:

Leopold

Guests can be treated to a four-course meal served with Brooklyn brewery pairings. The menu includes "salmon blini paired with Pilsner, German sausage with beer cheese and frites paired with Pennant Ale, Leopold barbecue with black-eyed peas paired with Sorachi Ace and Greek yogurt paired with Local 2."

The event runs from 7:30 – 10 p.m. and costs $50. Reservations are required.

Quartino

Quartino is hosting their monthly wine tasting paired with small plates from their regular menu on Wednesdays. The tasting cost $20 and lasts from 7 – 9 p.m.

The menu includes sicilian wines and pizza and salads. You can also take home a bottle from the tasting for only $10.

Sunday, July 3 – 4:

Frontier

Frontier is hosting a barbeque special including ribs, chicken, and exclusive sausage, along with $4 cans of craft beers for the holiday weekend.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Sunday and Monday. No cost to enter, just the cost of food and drinks.
