Spiced Ricotta & Roasted Apple Sandwich – Sazon 150cal. Snacks

Below is a recipe for one such snack (and it's only 150 calories!!!)


Spiced Ricotta and Roasted Apple Sandwich
By Sazon Chicago’s CEC Ursula Adduci
 
For the Ricotta:
 
1/4 Cup Low-fat Ricotta
1 tsp Lemon Zest
1 tsp Orange Zest
1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
1 tsp Limoncello
 
Combine all ingredients
 
For the Apples:
 
2 slices of Granny Smith Apple 1/3 inch (CUT ACROSS)
Brush with honey and sprinkle black pepper.
 
Pre-heat oven @ 405F
 
Put in the oven over Sil-Pad or Parchment paper for 7 min.
 
Let it cool.
 
Place the ricotta in between the apple slices and lightly press together.
 
Roll the sandwich over 1/4 cup of minced roasted slivered almonds. Save excess almonds.
 
Enjoy.
 
About 150 calories.
