Cat Stew – The Horror of Tradition in the Kitchen!

Grisly is certainly a descriptor when it comes to traditional recipes. Braising a hog's head until it literally falls apart might be a centuries old tradition but if I were to better describe the process it would make everyone's wince turn into a cringe. That's what happened in Italy when one of their respected TV chefs, Giuseppe Bigazzi, recounted in detail… step by step detail, how Tuscans used to cook and eat cats. Now nobody seems to dispute that this happened or suggest that it should now happen but Italian animal rights folks lost their minds and are screaming for blood (just not cat-blood).
