It's the #1 restaurant in the world and the likelihood of getting a table there is 1-in-3 annually. In better words it can take years to get a table.
Not only that but you need to book a hotel, airline tickets and transportation to the out of the way restaurant, not to mention pay for the meal and tip!
So, what do you do when you can't make the date you get if you're lucky enough to get a table? Sell the reservation? Naaaah. That's so California.
Well someone is selling their reservation on Ebay and that someone sure enough is from California.
No. There are no takers yet.

Knock on wood...my wife just tried to get a reservation in August--flat out denied. I could see someone with means going for it--if you're there and have millions in the bank, why not?

haha, i love this! this was my reservation and yes, it sold. the couple emailed me this week with their extreme gratitude and some kickass pics of their dinner. in the grand scheme of things people, $1250 isn't really that much money to pay for the opportunity most of you will never ever get to experience in their lifetimes. it's a win-win. rather than exhausting your energies by ragging on people who are trying to enhance their life with good times and great food, why don't you concentrate on NOT being such a hater. your soul will thank you for it;-)
Cheers!!

Naturally continue to build, and continue to damage. Natural plant is difficult to achieve.

Reformulate the usual consensus thus:
"a vice presidential choice has little effect on election outcome *unless* it casts serious doubt on the judgment of the presidential candidate"
and you will find it is consistent with 2008 as well as past experience.
