Obama appeared on Chicago's popular public television show "Check Please!" in August, 2001 when he was an Illinois state senator but the episode was never broadcast.
    Now,
WTTW-television officials say they've found the episode and it will be
shown three times — January 16th, January 18th and on inauguration
day, January 20th.
    Obama reportedly gave a good review to the Dixie Kitchen restaurant in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood.
