Welcome to our first installment of the Chicago Foodies video podcasts. Most people don't realize that Ted Allen from Queer Eye, Food Network, etc. got his start in Chicago. He was kind enough to share his first journalism experiences at the Lerner newspapers and Chicago Magazine.
Ted clarified that not only did he vote for Graham Bowles over Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America but the other judges were "incorrect" in their assessments. He also seemed to suggest that Dale Levitsky has quite a shot at winning Top Chef. He certainly didn't come out and say that "Dale Levitsky wins Top Chef" but, well, you watch it and see.

Damn, I hate to say it , and I dont drink Bud. But, I liked it. Alot. I hate to say it. I am a classic trained Chef In San Francisco, and own three very well known establishments. I have trained under some of the best. I dont know what happened to me but this stuff was tasty, in a trashy, sorta.. tangy.. by the trailer kinda way. It could be paired with some yummy treats.

Wisdom appears in contradiction to itself, which is a trick life plays on philosophy of life.
