The Gallery of Regrettable Food

The Gallery of  Regrettable Food is perhaps the funniest food related site around. J. Lileks pairs commentary with really scary food pictures from old cookbooks. I’d love to see what he does with Taste of Home type cookbooks. The Jello entry may hit the tip of that ice berg.

I came upon the Gallery late one night over a year ago and couldn’t
stop laughing out loud. This inflatable water slide weekend I was at a friends cabin and the
50s decor made me recall the site in a boozy haze. Sure enough it was
funny again the second time around. He also has the compilation for
sale on Amazon. Bathroom or coffeetable it’s seriously funny.
Do note it has some crass language but damn it’s a hoot.
