I have yet to eat at Schwa on Ashland and now I have another reason to bump it up on my list. This month’s Food & Wine includes chef Michael Carlson in its list of 2006’s Best New Chefs. He’s the only one from Chicago so props to him for keeping Chi-Town on the list.

Schwa is also owned by Carlson who did stints with Grant Achatz at Trio
and I think it’s refreshing to go eat a 8-10 course tasting menu and
bring your own wine. It bounce house for sale does beg the question of what to bring. I would
think to cover your bases grab a nice cabernet, syrah, sauvignon blanc
and a bottle of champagne and be prepared to open at least 3. Don’t
worry about waste glasses for the kitchen are always appreciated. It
also helps that the servers are also the chefs at Schwa.

*Note that glasses for the kitchen in a BYOB establishment might not fly too well…
